Better Late then Never

 Well I finally got around to it today and changed the wreath on my front door. I've had my forsythia one on since Easter!!! Figured I better put my summer one on before I start decorating for fall, since it's right around the corner!

 I bought this boxwood wreath last year in Target and just added the burlap ribbon to it.





      Added a few boxwood twigs to my planters.






Well at least it will look like this for a few more weeks.

Now can someone PLEASE tell me how to get these ugly water marks off my dining room table, there driving me nuts! HELP:(

    The wreath is lovely as well as the planters. I think the boxwood could be used for every season just change the ribbon and it will be a whole new look:)

    This is SO pretty Martina! I still have a forsythia wreath on my door as it matches my flowers and home...so I leave it for summer. I love the boxwood in your planters, I never thought of doing that and I have boxwood everywhere! Thanks for the inspiration!!

    It looks lovely! You could use it for Christmas (or any season really) by adding red ribbon, etc. Did you do the "Welcome" on the door? I like the font.

    Try using Murphy's Oil Soap on the table. If that doesn't help, try asking Home Depot, Lowe's or an antique store for assistance.

    You are all set for fall. Just add some bittersweet and little pumpkins and you are good to go! The burlap ribbon is awesome by the way...

    I don't think you are late. I think the boxwood is neutral and could be used year round. Just add or change the accessories on the porch and the wreath would work.

    Now I'd be more worried about you if you were were like some people in my neighborhood who have left their Christmas greenery and lights up for three years and never taken those things down!

    Pretty pretty Martina. I am not sure on the watermarks...perhaps restaining the table top...but I would google it.

    Hi there, I love your wreath-so pretty; my fall wreath had birds nest in it this spring so not sure whether I'll put it back up. In answer to your question about the water stains, if you put real mayonnaise on it(full fat type)and let it sit for awhile and then rub it in later, the stains should disappear.

    I found something at Home Depot a long time ago that took those marks off my oak table. Have you asked the associate in the cleaning products area there?
    It looks like Summer is happening at your house, your boxwood wreathe is beautiful.

    Hi Martina. Pretty boxwood wreath. That's always a favorite of mine. About the table - I think I remember hearing about spreading mayonnaise on the spot, letting it sit, and then wiping it off. The oil couldn't hurt anything. Let us know what works! Linda

    Thank you everyone for all your help with getting the water marks out of my dining room table. Andrea gave me a blog to ck out,littlegreennotebook.blogspot.com. She did a post on this and I tried it and it worked YAY!! It seems the steam that causes these ugly marks is what you use to get them out! I used a damp dish towel and my iron. Ironed over the damp towel for about 15 sec moving the iron back and forth and VOILA they were out!
