This is for the BIRDS!!

A new concrete birdbath that is! I just purchased this a few days ago at Lowes, we have to keep those cute little birdies happy on those hot summer days! I placed it on our pool deck and planted some petunias around it. I'm getting the pool deck ready for the big "Blog" Party starting on June 20th that the girls over @ http://www.atthepicketfence.com is hosting. There's 12 great blogs involved!! For those of you who may not know about it I have it posted on my sidebar for you to check out!

I thought the flowers on the top of this one was so pretty.

I love how these petunias have two colors. Purple with a green trim. They will fill this area in nicely in a few weeks!

Now that was just a little peak of our pool deck, I'll be showing the whole thing at the blog block party! Have a great week and thanks so much for stopping by!!  Martina

  3. Petunias are one of my favorites...so dependable and you can forget about them for a day or two and they don't die! The bird bath is lovely...I had one but the top broke and I never replaced it. Maybe I will! Happy Sunday...~Ann

  9. Martina, that is a pretty one. I can't keep mine clean or water in it. It dries up so fast with no rain lately. Maybe since yours is closer to your house it will stay nice.

  20. Adorable, you will enjoy seeing the birdies playing there. I thought I was following, but any way I just refollowed. That happened at a lot of blogs that I know I had followed before. Maybe I was following with another account. Oh well. Love the burlap too!!

  29. That is a cute birdbath. I'll have to check it out at Lowes. Someone broke the top of mine into about 20 pieces. The dog swears she didn't do it, so it must have been a opossum trying to crawl into it.
