Hi there friends...
Welcome to the Share Your Style
Spring Blog Hop!
~~~
Even though the weather here in NY is far from Spring temps I decided to bring some "Spring" inside...starting with a vignette on my favorite blue chest!
I shopped the house and used things I already had except for the pretty white tulips I bought in the grocery store.
Tulips in tarnished silver makes me smile:-)
I pulled this nest out of one of our trees last fall.
I moved my column base in here...the nest sits on top of a stack of my favorite blue and white dishes...then covered it all with a pretty cloche...simple and pretty!
Well it may not feel like Spring outside but it's starting to look like Spring inside!
Thanks so much for stopping by today...
I hope you "hop" on over to see my other blogging friends...you'll get to see so much more Spring inspiration!
What a pretty Spring vignette! I had to do the same...if the outside won't cooperate & turn Spring-like, then the inside will! :)
All my favorites! White tulips, blue & white china.... so pretty! I've got a nest that fell out of a tree last fall and a cloche packed away in a cupboard just waiting to be turned into something pretty like you've created. Thanks for the spring inspiration!
ReplyDeleteOh I so love the gorgeous vignette. You are reminding me that I have the same pedestal that I need to bring out of the attic and use it...love the cloche on the pedestal and the combination of the blue and white plate and the tulips is perfection!
i love how you used your birds nest under a cloche. Love the pedestal it's sitting on top of too. I have a grey painted cement version but would love to have a wooden one like yours some day. Love the blue and white colors you used with your Spring decor.
ReplyDeleteLove the vignette! The cloche is so cute with the nest and of course the tulips look wonderful in the silver pitcher!
ReplyDeleteLove the nest under the cloche and the white tulips! Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteGlad to find your blog. All the southern posts are maintaining my hope that Spring will indeed arrive; and nice to know there are others up north who continue to anticipate the arrival with lovely indoor reminders.
