Hi there friends...
We've been so busy around here the last few weeks with my oldest graduating 8th grade this past Friday...her semi formal...and all the class trips they took in the last month (and I made sure I went on every one of them!). Their school definitely goes all out for the graduating class...they make them feel super special!
Her year was filled with many special memories!

I can't believe she's going to start high school in September and we all know how fast those 4 years go!
We are so proud of our girl!!

Ok... let's get on with the post now!
I still can't believe I only paid $1.50 for this demijohn! You heard me right only $1.50!!!
I found it in my favorite antique store in Connecticut.
It's a great size and it's in perfect condition.
I'd definitely say this was a good find!!
Have a great week!

My granddaughter just had her 8th grade graduation too and the school went all out. When I was growing up there was only two grads, high school and college. Things have change. I have never heard of a demijohn before, it is very pretty.

Love that demijohn. I have never seen one for sale and I know that the shops near me would not sell it for $1.50.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your daughter's promotion. Yes, the years zip by in high school. We moved to our current home when our daughter was in her junior year of high school. We are now going on 18 years in the house and it seems like no time at all.
It is always so fun to find something cheap and delightful! My babies are going into high school next year--it is so weird! I can't believe how fast kids grow up. :)
