Remember when I told you guys about the great antique store I found in Connecticut that's right near my hubby's back doctor...
it's where I found the antique cabinet for our master bath.

Hubs had to go for another follow up last week... there is no way I can just drive by this shop without taking a quick peek!!

This time I only came home with one thing...
I thought this plate was so pretty I couldn't pass it up!
The markings on the back said it came from England. I should have taken a picture before I put the plate holder on.
It fits right in with the four botanical prints I have hanging in here.
The best part is I only paid $5.00 for it!

ReplyDeleteFor 4 years my daughter lived next door to the cutest little antique shop with gorgeous quilts, furniture and little tchotchkes in the window. This was in San Francisco and for those 4 years, the shop was never open when I was visiting her. My daughter said she never saw it open once.
What a great buy! I love going to shops that have cute things and good prices.

ReplyDeleteWhat a striking botanical print that is. And I'll have to mull over the idea of using a platter for decorating in the bath - I have one I hate to part with and have no where to put it - except maybe it would work in our extra bath.
