Hey there friends...Happy St. Patrick's Day!
~~~
~~~
Still not much I can do around here until the floors are finished but I did manage to work on a few projects this week!
~~~
Kitchen floors were finished last weekend and all my appliances were put back including the center island. While the granite top was off I had my cousin add these pretty wood corbels to the island and then I painted them black.
LOVE the look!!
I also worked on getting my bar stools painted...
I loved the walnut color they were but they started to get pretty beat up...my kids sit here all the time to do home work...eat...or just to hang out.
AFTER...using my Maison Blanche paint in Wrought Iron. I had just enough left in the can to get these done:-)
I distressed the seat area and all around the edges.
Next up...painted the dining room. I went lighter...the new color is Cornice Tan by Ben. Moore but I had the formula cut in half.
This color is going to go throughout the whole first floor and upstairs hallway.
Now that the floors are laid in here I can freshen up all the white below the chair rail.
This weekend they finished up the dining room most of the hallway and completed my power room and put it back together...DEFINITE PROGRESS:-)
I'll be painting this week....what will you be up to?
