Hey there friends...
I told you there were more changes to come in my son and daughters jack & jill bathroom and today I'm going to show you them.
This January marked 11 years for us in this house...and many changes have been made!
This is the only bathroom that we didn't remove the builder grade mirrors and replace them with pretty framed ones. We even took it a step further in here and replaced the formica counter top with a solid surface one.

I was so excited to get this done I forgot to take before pictures:( but I was able to find these.
The color of the counter is called toffee...I ordered two side splashes along with the back splash...I like the finished look it gives.
The mirrors I bought in Home Goods...they were a dark silver color and I painted them AS Pure White.
I really liked the chunkiness of the frames.
I went with rectangular under mount sinks instead of oval...so happy with that choice.
I also upgraded the edge type to ogee.
The faucets and lights we changed out the year we moved in.
Looking out from the tub and potty room.

ReplyDeleteVery, very nice, Martina!! I love the counters and painting the mirror was a great idea, I love how it turned out. Maybe they would be selling them faster had they looked like this from the start! Ha!

It looks great. Very upscale and lovely. Great choices on those sinks. I like the rectangular ones, too. You did a good job, Martina! xo Diana
ReplyDeleteThe mirrors look fantastic but I'm zoomed in on the fact I can see your fish in your tank. Ours is just like that and someone has been neglecting their duties!
ReplyDeleteThat looks amazing! I really like the rectangular sinks. That's not something you see everyday and it is good looking.
ReplyDeleteI love everything, but my favorite is the sweet little table in the last photo and the vignette you created.
ReplyDeleteGreat changes to the bathroom. I love the sink shape. Beautiful makeover.
ReplyDeleteThe bathroom looks so nice with all of your upgrades. I know the feeling of getting rid of builder grade everything. We still have it in the kitchen which I'd love to change sometime.

ReplyDeleteLooks beautiful Martina! I really refer undermount sinks. In our secondary baths we have the sink counter top combo where it is all one-tumbled marble. Can't wait to rip um out some day.
