Hey there friends Happy Monday...Hope you all had a great weekend!
While grocery shopping the other day I spotted this fiddle leaf fig in their nursery section...I know they're all the rage right now and knew I had the perfect spot for one so in my cart it went!
Another new addition was this copper bucket my mom found for me in Home Goods...she knew I would love it!
I placed the plant in a basket I already had near our fireplace in the family room.
I even changed up what I had on top of this cabinet...I added this wicker dome and simply filled it with apples...lovin it!
The view from my couch makes me smile:)
Thanks so much for stopping by!
Have a super week!!

Your fiddle leaf is pretty in that spot and the perfect size. Your frenchy chair just makes me jealous though. :)
ReplyDeleteOh that's a very pretty plant. I think you'll enjoy that for years to come. That brings a lot of warmth into the room. That was sweet of your mom to think of you with that copper bucket too. It looks perfect by the fireplace.
ReplyDeleteI have been looking for one of those plants. I haven't found any around here. It looks great in your basket. That copper pot has such wonderful patina on it!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful new items and perfect placement, Martina....Christine
ReplyDeleteThat was so sweet of your mom. It's pretty.
ReplyDeleteI don't think I've seen that type of plant before, so I'll have to look.
What a great find at the grocery store. I have looked and looked at every place in my area that sells plants but none have a fiddle leaf fig! I finally ordered one online but it was not nearly as big and full as yours! I love yours!
ReplyDeleteLove it, I may have to have a look around for one!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful plant Martina and I love that pink cabinet in your space what a fun pop of color!!!
ReplyDeleteGreat new treasures...enjoy!
XO Barbara
Is the plant real? For the life of me I am terrible with indoor things. Can grow a garden but kill anything I have inside.
ReplyDeleteOh Martina, what a great find and gift from your Mom! Love it! That chair of yours is telling me that I need one! It's just wonderful!
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty plant....I think I am the only person that hasn't tried one yet?!?! LOL...Love the copper bucket your mom found for you too! Have a great week!

ReplyDeleteI love the new plant! I just threw out my two palms this weekend because they were infested with spider mites so I may consider a fig too. Yours looks so full and pretty!

Martina, that is a nice fiddle leaf fig. You can take off the bottom leaves. You will be removing the lower ones occasionally. My two are doing so good.
ReplyDeleteGreat finds Martina! I love plants in baskets and yours looks beautiful! :-)

That view would make me smile too, Martina. It all looks so pretty!
ReplyDeleteOMGosh- I want your Mom to adopt me cuz I want a bucket just like that one. What a GREAT find. There is nothing like greenery in the winter time to make us dream of summer! xo Diana
ReplyDeleteI love that "the view from my couch makes me smile". I feel the same way about certain views i my house.
ReplyDeleteI like the plant, but I LOVE the copper bucket. I need to visit Home Goods. Fortunately for my wallet, the only one is a 40 minute drive.

ReplyDeletea beautiful room you have!
ReplyDeleteHi Martina! Oh, I love your fiddle leaf. We had one planted in the back yard and it got almost two stories tall! It loved the corner in the back yard but it got out of control and started to die. I'd never seen one planted in the ground before but it was huge! I kinda miss that fiddle! Your home always looks so pretty.
ReplyDeleteBe a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
Martina, love the new plant. I need to find a new plant to replace one in our living room that looks pretty sad right now.
ReplyDeleteThanks for having my blog on your sidebar. My feed is finally updating again. Yea!
Your heading sounds like the title for a poem or book, or maybe a country song.
ReplyDeleteThe fiddle leaf fern would work anywhere.
ReplyDeleteYour fiddle leaf fig looks so good there, and your copper bucket really makes for a cozy corner. Love your chair, too.
