Moving things around

 Hi Friends...
With putting up the Christmas tree and other decorations some of the everyday things had to get moved around and I really didn't feel like bringing EVERYTHING up to our storage room!
So I found a new spot for certain things like this little table I had in the corner of our family room where our tree is now. It works perfectly in our breakfast area along with my new fruit botanical prints.
 Here's where it usually is...

I added a few Christmas touches to it. That cute pinecone candle I found in a home decor shop near me...they wanted $20 for it!! When I went back the day after Thanksgiving they were marked down...I ended up only paying $5 for it...so I bought the last three that they had!! Not bad right!
Now the problem is... I really like the table in it's new home which means I'll have to look for a different one to replace it after Christmas;)

  4. I dread having to move furniture out of the way for our tree, Martina. There is not a lot of room to begin with so not much extra space to move things to. Unfortunately, the guest room winds up being the recipient of the small items and I just squash the one chair over in the living room. Your table works out great in that spot. It's funny how you wind up liking something that is meant to be temporary and it becomes permanent.

  5. LOL- That is EXACTLY what I was thinking- that it looked so nice there you wouldn't want to move it after the Holidays were over. LOL- I see more rearranging in your future! xo Diana

  11. I love it there too! That's so funny that you say that, because that can easily happen when making room for a large Christmas tree. It sort of forces you to make changes that you normally wouldn't do and you just may surprise yourself with wanting it to stay that way! Now you have some shopping to do!

  26. Isn't it funny how that happens - I move things around often and then can't remember where everything was to begin with!! Thank goodness for photos to look back on. Your table looks great in its new spot - good luck figuring out how to fill in the old spot :-)
