Last week my mom asked me if I could do her a favor and drop something off at a friends house for her since I was going to be in the area. Joann and my mom have been BF's since they were in their twenties...50 years of friendship! JoJo (that's what we call her) is family to us! When I walked into her house there were two bins near her front door...she said these are for you.
Was I surprised when I opened the bins and saw these beauties wrapped inside...I think I squeezed the life out of her LOL!!
They're made by Wedgewood & Co. England they even have a trade mark # on them. She received this 8 piece setting for her bridal shower 53 years ago.
I couldn't wait to get them home and play house...I knew they were going to be displayed in my dining room hutch.
The set also came with two different size serving platters and two bowls.
The pretty boxwood topiary I added I won a few months back from my friend Ron's giveaway The Uptown Acorn
I absolutely love the way these pieces look in my hutch!
Thank you JoJo I will cherish them forever xoxo!!
