Shine some light...

It's no secret how much I love a pretty lamp! Today I'm joining Alison over at The Polohouse for her Favorites on the First party... I'll be showing you all some of my favorite lamps.
Let's start with this little Stiffel lamp I have in my living room.
These next two were found in Home Goods.
I just changed the shade on this one to a burlap one from Pottery Barn.
My mom bought this floor lamp for me when we moved into this house.
I love the pretty details on this lamp.
Bought this little cutie on Amazon.
Another Home Goods find!
And finally these lamps in my bedroom that I was about to get rid of until I added the new burlap shades...now I love them!
Well, those were my favorites...can't wait to see yours!!

I'm also partying over at:

  6. Very pretty! Love your little tiny Stiffel lamp. I've come to the conclusion that changing the shade means you can keep a lamp forever. Well maybe. :)

  9. While looking at all the pretty lamps in blogland, I finally came to the conclusion that for me, it isn't the lamp, it is the shade. My lamps aren't terribly exciting, but they make me smile when I look at their sweet shades!

  14. So many lovely lamps Martina. I love the little teapot lamp. I love how a lamp adds a style of it’s own to a spot. I’m looking for new bedroom lamps. I don’t know what I want them to look like, maybe like your PB lamp!
    Have a great evening.

  22. Martina!

    Sooooo many pretty choices!
I cannot even pick just one to love as they are all wonderful.

You are so right... a new shade can give a lamp a completely different look.
I should count how many of those PB burlap shades I have brought in for my house too! They are too darn cute.
(Never made it to the second floor lamps where I have three or four of them!)

Thanks so much for taking us through your lamp home tour!
    Loved every example.

  24. Martina, isn't it amazing how a new shade changes the look of a lamp? Love seeing the lamps around your home. Thanks for sharing. The floor lamp with it's detailed arm is my favorite.

  25. Hi Martina!!!!

    Love your lamps!!

    BUT...

My favorite is the one you mom bought you. It's very elegant!!!
It's amazing what a new shade will do to a lamp that you felt wasn't working in the decor dept.

    Have a great week!!
