Adding a shade to your ceiling fan & Adding a bit of whimsy to the sconces

After we finished painting Mackenzie's room and the hubby was putting the blades back on her ceiling fan, I really didn't want to put back the UGLY light fixture (globe) that went with it! So I tried out the shade that was on one of her lamps and it worked perfectly and looked sooooo much better!
I've seen this done around blogland a lot and always loved the look! The hubs just added a washer and two nuts to secure it tightly and then we added the little finial back at the end.
A much better look, don't ya think?
Moving on to the sconces over her bed...every girl loves a little zebra print! I found these cute shades in Hobby Lobby.
I even removed the fabric cord cover and replaced it with this plastic one and painted it the same color as the wall. I liked the look of the fabric one but it was a big dust collector!
Hope your all having a super weekend!!
Next up... the full room reveal!

  7. Great idea for the ceiling fan! Ceiling fans aren't my favorite decor item, but they certainly are functional. We have three of them, and I'm going to see if a lampshade will fit on them. Thanks for the inspiration. Cute zebra shades, too.

For the home owner, it is very important understand what things house insurance coverage will not include in order to do something to get the extra insurance coverage needed. In most cases, a rider could be added to a house insurance coverage to deliver extra insurance coverage or even a distinct insurance policy can be purchased to cover a particular need. chwilówki One more problem that many auto insurance customers deal with is the fact that you will find simply too several insurance providers and if you were to check out each organization individually; it will take you a lot of time to just segregate the particular reliable companies from your fly simply by night operators then more to find the greatest rates. However if you approach a website that delivers auto insurance price comparison, nearly you get the cheapest prices but additionally with less businesses available it is easier to go through the credentials of every business.
