~Covered in White~

We woke up this morning to a fresh coat of beautiful snow! The kids had a snow day which means sleeping in late and their favorite for breakfast (pancakes).
This is what our house looked like first thing this morning.

These next pictures are looking off our back deck.





I love how everything looks right after it snows.

  12. Hi Martina, Oh what a beautiful scene-looks like a Hallmark card! I am happy to say our snow is finally melting and our temps got up to the 40's today-after three days of bitter cold. It felt wonderful to be out and about in the sunshine.
    Glad you enjoyed the snow.

  44. You neighbourhood looks lovely under the blanket of snow. I love snow! I lived 18 years without it and I LOVE the fact that I live in snow country again. I take an hour long walk in it five days a week and I never tire of seeing it's gorgeousness!
    It's snowing here today and is -14 Celsius.
    I hope it's not that cold in your neck of the woods.

  48. I love how your house looks all dressed up in it's snow whites. Just beautiful the views that you have. There is something very peaceful and calming about being snowed in and life slows down for a while. Very lovely photos.
    It was in the 50's here today and our snow is currently gone, but bitter cold temps coming in tomorrow plummeting down to the single digits. Burrrrrrrrr.
