What I'll be working on this week

Remember when I mentioned I was on the hunt for a desk for our new computer? Well I finally found one on Craigslist. It was the perfect size and for $100 it was the perfect price too! It's solid maple and it weighs a ton!!
 It's getting a whole new look, and that includes a few cosmetic changes too.
 I'm using MMS milk paint for the first time, the color I picked is Lucketts Green.
 First up, filling in all the holes and getting all the drawers painted.
 I was hoping this was going to be a makeover that only took a day or two. NOT HAPPENING! I'm hoping to have it done by the weekend, I'll keep you posted!

    Great looking desk! Love the lines of it and the color you picked out. I always run into the same issue....I think things will take 1 day and they actually take 2 weeks...LOL! Happy Fall Ya'll from Houston, TX!

    You got a great desk for your new computer. Isn't it funny how we can misjudge project time. Whenever I think a project won't take long it does, and vice versa! Can't wait to see how it turns out.
