Happy weekend friends! Our front stoop is dressed for Fall!
We've been having the perfect fall weather, cool evenings and mornings and warm, sunny afternoons . I love this time of year!
I added grapevine garland around the door this year and love how it looks! (Even though I almost poked my eye out trying to pull it apart LOL!) I think I might even keep it there for Christmas.
I was planning on filling my pots with mums, but the plants that I have in there are still thriving so I didn't want to pull them out...
...instead I just poked a pumpkin in there.
Added a few smaller ones to this side too. This Vinca will last until we get a frost.
Just a few more touches to the inside and I'm done!
Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a super weekend!
Today is my oldest daughter Mackenzie's birthday.
She's wants to do a shopping day at the mall. That could be dangerous;)
Happy Birthday Mackenzie!! We love you so much! xoxo

Very pretty, Martina! I love your wreath! The plants in my urn by the garage are still going strong so I thought I'd add a pumpkin in to the mix. Plus, they are Fall colors, so I think it will work. Haven't gotten my real pumpkins yet, but I'm hoping this week to get them and my mums.
ReplyDeleteMartina, your porch looks great. Love the idea of the loose garland. Happy birthday to your daughter. Have fun shopping.
ReplyDeleteLove the way you nestled the pumpkins into your existing plants. It looks very pretty. I hope your daughter has a very happy birthday!!
ReplyDeleteHappy Fall, Martina! Great entrance. xo
ReplyDeleteMartina, your entry looks wonderful! I love the grapevine garland! I'm with you, as long as the plants are still thriving, I leave them there until the frost kills them. Happy Birthday, to your daughter! She's beautiful!!

ReplyDeleteWow, your porch looks so pretty and festive. I love the addition of the grapevine, and the rustic element that it brings. Your wreath is gorgeous, lovely job!
Happy Birthday to your beautiful daughter. I can't believe how much she has grown from last year. =)
Thanks for sharing! XO ~Liz
Hi Martina, love your front porch, and the grapevine looks so pretty around the doorstep. Had to laugh about your eye (sorry) you know one time I had an antique flower cart fall on my head out in the garage. gosh, there's no end to what us gals will do for our decor!!
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday to your beautiful daughter. LOVE your stoop. The twig garland is awesome. I have some of that and have been wanting to get up there and do that as well. Have a great day Martina.
ReplyDeleteI hope you had a wonderful day shopping at the mall, happy birthday to her!!!
ReplyDeleteI have that grapevine garland and it is so hard to handle, I'd use it too but don't think after all the work it would show up to well against the brown brick and black door, yours looks just wonderful!

Happy Birthday, Mackenzie! Martina, Your front stoop looks great! I usually put grapevine around my door this time of year, too, and keep it up through Christmas. I added wide red mesh and hung large ornaments on it. I still haven't decorated anything outside for Fall yet!

Hi Martina, I love the garland and your plants look way better than mums to me. We have vinca vine that wants to take over the world here. Olive
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday to your beautiful daughter, Martina! And, what a GORGEOUS Fall entry! I love that you added the garland (and, ohhh, can I relate to the almost poking of the eye out with the garland ... that *stuff* is dangerous)! And, I also love the pumpkins nestled into your urns!
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday Mackenzie! Your fall decor looks great, I can't get into fall yet here in Orlando, hot during the day and hot at night! I say leave the vines up for the holidays, it looks great!
ReplyDeleteCarol
Happy birthday, MacKenzie! She is very pretty! Your front porch is looking good, Martina, so welcoming. I love the touches of orange...Christine
ReplyDeleteI love your fall touches, especially your pretty wreath on your door!
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean about not wanting to pull out perfectly good plants. It's a dilemma this time of year.
Have a great day!
Pam
Your porch looks beautiful!! I love your wreath, and Happy Birthday to your daughter.
ReplyDeleteKathy
I love your front door with the lights and shutters on the side. I bet you have a lovely entry way behind that front door too. I think how we decorate our front doors says so much about what people will find when they come inside.
ReplyDeleteCindy
Martina it all looks lovely! I think your huge wreath is my favorite part!
ReplyDeleteLovely job on your front porch...everything looks so festive. I think the grapevine garland is perfect. When I was cleaning out a closet last week looking for something (never did find it) I found 2 packages of grapevine garland I forgot I had. I'm saving them for Christmas and you just gave me an idea!
ReplyDeleteHappy birthday to your pretty girl. The decorations look great!
ReplyDeleteHi Martina, your porch looks great, love that grapevine around the door. I'm still trying to decide if I want to decorate the porch.
ReplyDeleteWe had an over abundance of grape vines climbing everything in the woods this year. I think I should go rip them down so they will dry up and I can use them. I could leave them up and then wrap Christmas lights around them.
ReplyDelete~Bliss~
First, a very happy birthday to your daughter. Second, I am glad you didn't poke your eye out and third, your front porch is warm and welcoming and perfect for fall.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful front fall entry! I love the Welcome with your wreath. The pumpkins are just perfect tucked in with the plants.
