This is it!! Hopefully!
Hopefully this is it, because I sure am tired of filling in all the nail holes and painting this wall over and over again:( This wall has gone though so many changes in the last year and I'm just never 100% happy with it in the end. Anybody else have a problem spot in their home? I love my blue plates that I had hanging in here but they looked lost on this wall. This wall is not only wide but it's also high, the ceiling in here is a 14ft tray so it needed something more substantial.
Here's the new look...
I'm happy with the way this gallery wall turned out, especially having the different colored frames.
Let's hope it stays this way for a while!
Now I'm off to go and fill all the other holes where I took these pictures from:(
Thanks so much for stopping! I can't believe it's Wednesday already these weeks are flying by!

I truly love it. You collection of houses are together. It's perfect to me.
ReplyDeleteLove your new wall grouping....very pretty! I have a few spots in my home that I am always tweaking in hopes of finding the "perfect" arrangement!!! LOL
ReplyDelete~Des
your grouping looks lovely, just perfect, I had to laugh when I read the title of your post on my side bar, I have been here believe me, I fill holes and fill holes, only to change my mind again and again,
ReplyDeleteLooks awesome, are those Kinkades? I am spending the afternoon getting caught up on my reading my favorite blogs and of course your on the list! Your place is so beautiful Martina, I love to come and just see all the pretties!
ReplyDeleteOh yes, I can relate to lots of nail holes! Ha! Your gallery wall looks great. I didn't realize you had such a high ceiling. Those kind of rooms can be hard to decorate. I like the picture light used on the center picture too. I bet that looks pretty lit up at night.
ReplyDeleteOh yes ma'am! I have a couple of problem spots!!! I'm too lazy as of late to do much about it!! Your wall looks wonderful :)
ReplyDeleteYes I think you have nailed it.
ReplyDeletePerfect!
You sound like you are a spackle pro, Martina! : ) I like the way this arrangement fills the space over your sofa. I do know what you mean ~ I hate when I wind up wanting to change something and know I am going to be looking at holes. I still have to figure out what I'm doing about holes in the master from pictures I removed when I added that crown in. The previous owner didn't leave us any paint!
ReplyDeleteI think you have the perfect look going on here. I always have trouble with my mantel, so I know the feeling of wanting to get it right. I love this!
ReplyDeleteXO,
Jane
When decorating make you feel at home it makes it right. You sound like you are happy so that makes it perfect! It looks lovely. You have a elegant style.
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking it looks pretty & perfect! I think you've got it this time.
ReplyDeleteMarty,
ReplyDeleteI have the same issue. We have 25 foot ceilings and nothing I ever do looks right, but I think you have it girl. Great looking gallery wall, and I agree the different color frames works.
Such a pretty room Martina! and your display sets it off perfectly!!

I love it-It is very pleasing to the eye. Now go get back to your hole filling- xo Diana
ReplyDeleteI think we all have a wall or spot in our home that we just can't get right. Anyway, your wall does look good and not lost on that wall.

Looks beautiful, Martina!
ReplyDeleteI think it looks lovely Martina. I know what you mean about filling patching and painting.
ReplyDeleteIt looks great Martina!
ReplyDeleteI love the arrangement, and that stained glass window over there!!
ReplyDeleteLinsey
It looks beautiful Martina! When you get done with filling in all the nail holes and painting, you can come to my house...I have quite a few to fill in myself...LOL! Enjoy your day, Gail
ReplyDeleteMartina, I can relate to nail holes..you should see my stairway wall..:( But you have a winner this the arrangement behind your sofa. I like the mix of frame colors and the size of the grouping looks perfect. Oh, great lamp with the burlap shade that's beside the sofa. I keep forgetting to tell you.
ReplyDeleteOh your gallery wall looks awesome!
ReplyDeleteIt looks perfect!! It's so pretty. I spend so much time filling holes in the wall so i know how you feel.
ReplyDeleteKathy
Hi Martina! Oh, honey, you had better quit fiddling with this wall - you're going to wear it out! ;)
ReplyDeleteI love this arrangement.
Be a sweetie,
shelia ;)
Love the new arrangement over the sofa.......perfection...
ReplyDeleteI spy Thomas Kincaid...I have a few myself...the one I treasure was signed by him on the back of the canvas...he was there at the gallery...:)
Have a wonderful weekend!
Very nice, Martina and lordy do I know what you mean about nail holes.
ReplyDeleteSome walls are just really difficult, aren't they. I've had that problem several times, and it's the long tall walls that are the worst. I think it looks wonderful now, though.
ReplyDeleteHugs, Cindy
Your wall grouping looks great Martina! Sometimes it takes time to get something just right. I just changed my mantle again...I don't think I'm ever satisfied with it.
ReplyDeleteI neglect to fill in the holes. I just cover them with something else!
ReplyDeleteBrenda
It looks great, Martina!
ReplyDeleteCAS
I'm with you on the nail holes. My walls are now Swiss cheese! But the arrangement is so worth it, it looks amazing!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Patti
Ha, ha, so glad to know I'm not the only one. I just painted my breakfst room, and kitchen; I don't even want to tell you how many nail holes were there!!
ReplyDeleteThis looks great. I love the large picture in the center. The arrangement is perfect.
ReplyDeleteNow you gotta find something to replace what you took down elsewhere. LOL, ginger
I think it looks great, Martina. Relax.
ReplyDeleteI think we are our own worst enemies, constantly making more work for ourselves. But it was definitely worth it in this case - I love the change. x Sharon
ReplyDeleteLooks good!! But I know what you mean about not being happy with it. Since re-vamping my living room three months ago, I've changed the color at least three times - more if you count all the swatches I've painted on the walls. I haven't blogged about it, because I'm still so frustrated!
ReplyDeleteMartina, The new arrangement looks wonderful! Thanks so much for joining the OHP.
ReplyDeleteMartina,
ReplyDeleteSometimes it is never ending of patching holes LOL.But it all turned out great.Love how that wall looks!
((((Hugs))))
Anne
