I was so excited to get this hung I totally forgot to take a pic of what was hanging here before, I know I'm a bad blogger!
I found this pretty canvas in Hobby Lobby a few weeks ago. It was $60 but I got it for 40% off. I had the metal scroll in my stash that I added above it.
The scroll piece was originally brown but out came the paint and I painted it with AS Arles then heavily distressed it.
Another change that I made was taking down the white valance I had hanging in here and replaced it with this pretty lead glass piece that I found on ebay.
I love this look so much better!!

ReplyDeleteHa, I have the same picture over the fireplace in our living room, Martina! Don't you love it? I got it at 50% off at Hobby Lobby, then went back and got a thick black frame for it. They had a horizontal one that went with it and I wish I had somewhere to put that one, too, because I'd get it in a minute. Love that leaded glass window, too.
