Taking a closer look at the table you can see it was in pretty bad shape, but I had a vision and for $20 it came home with me.
Surprisingly I didn't whip out the paint, instead I used this...
And turned it into this...
Linsey is an AMAZING artist and she has more of her beautiful paintings for sale on her blog.
I just love my new painting! This one is called "Evening Clearing"
Hope you all had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend!!

Your little table looks like a very nice antique now! I know that took more work than just painting it. Sometimes you just need the warmth of real wood in a room. I didn't know that Linsey was an artist. Such a pretty painting! Looks like it found a nice home at your house.
ReplyDeleteMartina I am in love with your table!!! Oh my you are truly lucky to own one of Linseys paintings!! I hope to own one one day as well. She actually lives just around the corner from me. We met over at Savvy Southern Style during WOW one week.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely gorgeous Martina! Love the old wood look and that painting is beautiful.

Ahhh! The little painting looks so at home in its new home! I cant believe how beautifully your wall color partners with it. And the table is gorgeous! It's the perfect size. I'm always looking for little side tables like that and I never find any that cute. I'm so thrilled you love it, and even more thrilled that it went to a friend.
