In my last post I showed you the makeover I did on the $20 garage sale chest I bought. Now for the vignette that sits on top of it.
I made another book bundle that I tea stained and tied with twine and placed my small lamp on it for a little height and added a few twig balls. I find myself adding a lot more natural elements around the house and in vignettes.
A night shot.
Added small apples in this antique soup mug that my mom gave me (or should I say begged her for;)
This little book has always been my favorite. I love how old and worn it is.
A new vignette for a new piece.
Thanks so much for stopping by and have a great weekend!!

I love what you did with the chest, adding the detail was genius! And you also have a great talent for arranging pretty things on top! I have no talent in that area. I think I will use your tabletop as a jumping off point. I have a beautiful buffet that is always empty. Maybe I can use yours to guide me.
ReplyDeleteHow pretty is that vignette Martina!
ReplyDeleteI love the simplicity of it. Enjoy the rest of your weekend, Gail
The chest is just gorgeous and your vignette just makes it all the much better, Martina! The color and waxing really made it look special. :-)
ReplyDeleteYou've used many of the same elements for the vignette that I would have chosen. Books, twig balls, the fruit.... All so luscious!
