I still can't believe it!! We wound up getting 11inchs of snow yesterday! It does look beautiful but it did a lot of damage because it was a heavy wet snow. We never lost power but a lot of people in the tri-state area did. It also caused a lot of trees to go down. We lost some big branches on a few of our trees and my next door neighbor lost two pear trees completely. It's sunny and in the upper 50's today so a lot of it is melting.
My poor trees!
It's so weird to see snow with Halloween decorations.
At least my pumpkin will defrost so we can carve it later! Have a great week and Happy Halloween!
A little peek at what I worked on last night. Come back later on for the reveal:)
Beautiful snow pics. That was a lot of snow. So sorry about the trees. Look at you teasing us, too!
ReplyDeleteI have been looking at your pictures and just gasping! I even showed them to my husband. We've been hearing about all this snow on the news. I guess your trick or treaters will have to wear their snow boots! Better clear off your driveway and walkway too. It's very pretty though. I would love to have some of that at Christmas time.
ReplyDelete11 inches of snow! Holy moly! It does look weird to see Halloween decorations with all that snow on the ground! lol
ReplyDeleteOMG, that's a LOT of snow for so early in the season. It's so hard on the trees when that happens. Glad you didn't lose any, and sorry that your neighbor did.
ReplyDeleteHappy Halloween!
Pam
Geez, we only got about an inch. I posted my pics too if you want to come see. Your poor trees:( I am AMAZED that we didn't lose any trees or the power! HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!! XO, Pinky
ReplyDeleteWOW, 11 inches, that is crazy girl! Pretty photos though. I wonder what you are working on?
ReplyDeleteHow ridiculous the snow looks on your pumpkin and around your Halloween stuff. We were spared in southern Del...this time ;) thanks for the pics!
ReplyDeleteThe snow is beautiful, I can't believe how much you got. Glad you still had power")
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, I don't think I'm quite ready for snow yet. There is definitely frost on your pumpkin ;-)
ReplyDeleteWow, I worry about you northern folks and snow this year! In Orlando we had 75 degrees and perfect today. We have had such hot weather, that today was so welcome. Lets hope this snow is not a predictor of your winter season!

I can't get over it...
ReplyDeleteOh, Mother Nature sure pulled a fast one on you guys! Glad it's melting.

I'm so sorry about your trees, but glad you didn't lose power or have worse damage. I hope the weather is better for Halloween.

Oh my ~ so much snow and so early. Something just not right about snow and leaves falling at the same time.
