I've wanted to paint the dressers in Victoria's room for some time now just couldn't find the time! Well yesterday I got to it. One down and one more to go!! Of course I used AS chalk paint, I painted it in old white and then lightly distressed it and applied the clear wax.
Here's the Before
Added these cute knobs from Hobby Lobby. I used these small green ones on the top 3 draws and then the larger ones with the green polka dots on the 2 bottom drawers.
Tomorrow I'll work on this one!
Hope you all are having a great week and staying cool! Thanks so much for stopping by, Martina

Super cute, Martina.
ReplyDeleteI have two pieces that are similar wood, Martina, and I'm glad to see they will turn out this nicely painted. They are on my list of pieces to eventually paint. Nicely done and I love it white.
ReplyDeleteAwesome job! If my memory serves me correctly, I think I recongnize these dressers as Broyhill?? I use to own that bedroom set. Gave it to me sis. Great, spacious drawers. I know your daughter will love it!

ReplyDeleteYou got the bug Martina! I knew that was going to be painted. LOOKS AWESOME! Love the cute knobs too.
ReplyDeleteIs the chalk paint really that easy? I see all of y'all with these gorgeous transformations, but I am skeptical. I think y'all are pros, and I will screw-up a perfectly good piece of furniture.
ReplyDeleteGreat Job! Love the sweet little knobs!
ReplyDeleteLovely job! I sometimes wonder if, in 10 years time, we will all be blogging about removing the paint from our furniture and reverting it to it's natural wood state? :) x Sharon
ReplyDeleteMartina, the knobs were the finishing touch on such a great make-over. I'll be ordering my chalkboard paint today as I have a whole bedroom full of furniture to paint.
