Our Living Room



Today I'll be taking you on a tour of our living room. This is one of my favorite rooms in our house, and it's also the room that I am constantly tweaking! You can click on the pics to make them larger.

    I love the window in your living room, Martina! What great light you get! Love your French chairs and the matching pillows you added. I got a couple of tables from Bombay {among other things}, too. I wish they hadn't closed.

    Your living room is lovely. I remember shopping at Bombay Co. My hubby purchased a few pieces of furniture. I mostly picked us small decorating items on clearance.     Ohhh...my friend, your living room is simply glorious! I love all the beautiful sunlight that those gorgeous big ol' windows let in! Sooo pretty! Love the pretty stained glass piece that you added to your window...bet it casts all kinds of pretty colors across your room! Martina, I love your chairs...they are sooo pretty! The fabric and style are something that I would have chosen! I'm still giggling at the fact that we like so many of the same things! You have great taste, my friend! wink! Hehe! Girlfriend, I sooo enjoyed all of your beautiful vignettes...you are such a talented designer! Thank you so much for sharing your fabulous living room with us today...it was such a treat! I was wondering though...the pretty plates that you have above your sofa...are they Thomas Kinkade? They really are pretty!

    I love your living room. I was surprised to see you're in NY -- it looks so southern "veranda" like. It's beautiful. You have some wonderful vignettes.     wow, just lovely!...i just found your blog through "southern savvy"....it is like the two of you are related! (are you?)...so many things the same in both of your homes, the twine tied books, the star fish in your tabletop vignette, the monogrammed pillows!

    even the blog names are similar!...both of you have such lovely homes, and such great talent at decorating!
