FORSYTHIAS equal SPRING

To me nothing says Spring like blooming forsythias!! It's still a bit to cold here in NY so my forsythias haven't bloomed yet, so I had to substitute with the next best thing ( faux)!! Today I decided it was time to change out my winter wreath that I had on the front door to my spring one. Even though it still feels like winter (ugh)! Maybe this will help bring the warmer weather!! Let's take a look!

I've had this wreath for a few years. I bought it from a home decor shop that is now out of business :(

This was the one I had up all winter. I bought it in Hobby Lobby before Christmas at 50% off!

What's your favorite spring flower? Can't wait to here from you!   Martina

  3. Your wreath is very springy! That forsythia looks real! I live in TX so I can't get my favorite spring flowers any way but faux ~ I love lilacs, peonies, and lily of the valley.
    Happy Spring!

  4. I love your forsythia wreath, Martina, and how you tied it in with the urns, too! I also have a berry type wreath up at the moment. I have no idea what way I want to go with the next one, but I'm keeping my eyes open to possibilities. Plus, I have to make a trip to Michael's so I'm sure they will have something to inspire! : )

  14. Your wreath & front porch look fabulous. Hope your temps warm up. It is suppose to be almost 90 here in Southern California in the next day or two. But it has been cool for the past week or two. My favorite spring flowers are daffodils And tulips. Thanks for stopping by my blog & for leaving me a comment.

  15. Your forsythia wreath looks great on your door, Martina! Speaking of the front door....I need to whip up a spring wreath. I've taken my winter wreath down and have yet to put up another one. Thanks for the inspiration.

  19. Mine haven't bloomed yet either. I was beginning to think they had died over the winter. Your planters with the grapevine balls and forsythia in are a great idea. Really cute!

  20. Hi Martina! OH, I love your wreaths and your front entry is so lovely! I guess my favorite Spring flower is a daffodil although it doesn't get cold enough here to keep them in the ground.
I'm so excited you'll be coming to my party.
    Be a sweetie,
    Shelia :)

  21. Hi Martina! I have an almost identical forsythia wreath on my front door and you want to hear something crazy? I bought mine the same week my sister bought the same exact one...in a different state! I love that you put some faux branches in the pot and I'm definitely going to do that too. Thanks so much for sharing this with us at Inspiration Friday this week!
