Table Makeover
This was a table I ordered from JCPenny a few years ago for this space in my upstairs hallway. It was ok but I really never loved it. So I decided to give it a makeover. This table was the start to my painting obsession! ( Sorry this is the only before picture I could find )
And this is how it looks now much better don't you think?
I sanded it lightly and then painted it Georgian Green by Ben Moore, I then started distressing it.
You notice all the details so much better now.
Now I can say I love it!
I'm joining Kim over at http://savvysouthernstyle.blogspot.com/ for Wow Us Wednesdays so go and take a look at all the great transformations!
I'm also joining http://diybydesign.blogspot.com/ another great blog I just found!

Hi Martina...
ReplyDeleteHehe...I am still meandering around your place! Ohhh...I just adore how your beautiful table turned out! You're absolutely right...all that gorgeous carving and details really show up now! Love, love, LOVE THIS!!! Okay...seriously, you are not going to believe this but...I looked at this very same table at JC Penneys to buy! Now I wished that I would have got it...I love how it looks at your place! Hmmm...now I am wondering if they still have the table or not? I'll have to check! We really do have such similar taste, my friend! It's so funny...not often do you run into someone that has so many of the same items in their home! You have a great sense of design style! wink!
Warmest wishes,
