Beadboard In The Bathroom

              Finally finished our oldest daughter Mackenzie's bathroom!!!

                                    I LOVE the look beadboard gives a room.
I wanted to make this a fun and bright bathroom for her. The paint color is Ben.Moore potpourri green. Found this cute cabinet in Home Goods, it holds all her toiletries and believe me she's starting to get a lot!
                                     I used her silver baby cup to hold Q-tips
        Added decals to her mirror. She loves anything with a Peace sign. Found this cute little lamp in target for $2.50 and all I did was add a little trim to dress it up.

Found these cute flip flop hooks in Hobby Lobby. They were brown so I spray painted them white and then distressed them a little.

      This is a picture of her bedding and this was my inspiration for the color choice.

    Really pretty! We just put beadboard in our hall bath this weekend (not posted yet). I think it gives a cleaner, neater look to a room. Great job!

    Oh my goodness, that bathroom is so cute! I am in love with the flip flop towel holders, what a great idea! My girl's would LOVE that bathroom.

    In regards to what kind of paint brush I used to paint the hinges on my doors...you're going to laugh when I tell you what I used...are you ready? I used a small paint rush that you would use to do watercolors or paintings with. It was the perfect size and it made going around the corners of the hinges easy. I tried a bigger brush and it was a mess. A small brush gets the job done quickly! I hope this helps. Once you get the 1st few hinges done, it will go really fast. I hope this helps. XOXO ~Liz

    We have a lot of beadboard and it's so all purpose. The green is terrific for the bath now and can be changed out easily later when she's ready. But the beadboard will always look great.
