~~~
Hi Everyone!
To those of you who don't know me my name is Barbara and I am from a little part of the blogosphere known as
I just may need to pinch myself because I cannot believe I am hosting the third
Share Your Style link party.
This is my very first time EVER as a party host, so I want you all to know that am really excited to be here.
I hope you'll take a moment to drop by and get to know
 I also want to invite you to stop by and visit me over at 21 Rosemary Lane, where the door is always open to old and new friends alike. And I certainly would be thrilled if you decided to follow me too.
Just to give to you an idea of what my style is here at 21RL, this is a post I shared last week.
(click here; to see the post in its entirety)
Thank you so much for coming by to party with us again this week. I have to tell you that I was completely blown away by all of the incredible talent linked up to
Share Your Style #2.
It was a tough job picking out my faves, but since I had to narrow it down to just a few here are the links which really caught my eye!
Home is Where the Boat Is  shared this darling potting shed which is being featured in the current issue of Flea Market Gardens Magazine
Oh how I long for a potting shed to play around in, and this is the shed I'd certainly love to have!
Next up is an incredible china hutch transformation by Kris of Junk Chic Cottage. It is literally jaw "droppingly" gorgeous! You simply must stop by to see what this cabinet looked like before Kris performed on it her own special magic!
And who doesn't love incredible flea market finds? This stunning flea market vanity makeover is by D.D.'s Cottage and Design. I adore the soft aqua color with the pretty gold gilding, and she really knocked it out of the park by paring it with a beautiful gold framed mirror and those fabulous pink tulips!
I have always been a huge fan of any recipe which includes shrimp, so when I came across this spicy twist on shrimp scampi by Jas of the blog All That JasI totally flipped!
Have you ever tried to define your own personal design style in a word or two? Well Heather from the blog Southern State of Mind has and her style is what she likes to call Preppy Eclectic! Stop by Heather's blog to find out just what Preppy Eclectic is, I think you will like both her definition and her style!
And those are my features for this week. I sure hope I did OK choosing ones you will enjoy checking out!
If your style was featured, please make sure to take along our little party gift before you go.
A Pair of Cane Back Chairs
Hi there friends...
While out antiquing a few weeks ago I came across a pair of these pretty cane back chairs.
 I LOVE any chairs that have either cane or rush on them...and when the owner of the shop said he would give them both to me for $50 I said SOLD!
~~~
Of course they got a makeover...
Here's the before...they were in great condition but when I bought them I knew I was going to use them in my kitchen as the head chairs so I painted them AS Versailles to match the other chairs in there.
Cute fabric...I just didn't like the way it went in my kitchen.
I always love seeing a before and after side by side...

I'm having a new valance made for the window over my kitchen sink and this tiny check fabric is one of the fabrics that will be used...so I tried a piece out on the chair cushions.

Once I'm done making the changes in my kitchen and family room...I'll show you how the chairs look in there.
~~~
I love having head chairs that don't match the rest...how about you?
A Tole Container & New/Old Bench
 Hi there friends...
I think I need an intervention of some sort because I can't seem to stay away from the flea market or antique stores!!
I've been on a good luck streak every time I go...and everything that's come home with me I've gotten amazing deals on so I couldn't pass them up!
~~~
Take for instance this large tole container...it was originally marked $100 and the owner of the space had it marked down to $30 because it was sitting there so long...
I got it for $25...(insert happy dance)!!
 I filled it with dried hydrangeas that I had in my storage room for over two years and they still look great!

 ~~~
 Next up was a freebie thanks to my mom...she brought this little beauty home for me...thanks mom I love it!!
Isn't this little bench so sweet...
I moved it in a few different spots but I love the way it looks tucked under my sofa table.
   That's all for today...gotta go and finish up a painting project that I started!
Thanks so much for stopping by!
Don't forget to link your new finds or projects up that show your style at "Show Your Style" here
 Here's a sample of things I shared last week:
There were so many amazing links last week
 that I had a hard time narrowing it down to just a few features.
But here goes...
Looking like it came out of a magazine layout,
this French Country Mantel from Pamela
 at From My Front Porch to Yours has the perfect balance.
I've oogled this Ticking Stripe Ottoman Redo
from Cindy at Beaux Reves, all week!
I'm lovin' this wonderful plate display
 from Shelia from Note Songs;
Rustic and Refined Grain Sack Chair from Susan at Simply Stone Creek,
 shows a beautiful alternative to white or gray paint
 with this wonderful deep, rich, black accent.
I'm ready for an amazing Spring Wreath DIY
from Ramon at Row House Blog.
And Amy from Ms.Toody Goo Shoes
gave us a yummy and good for you too, snack:
Thanks so much you all!!
Hope you'll join in with all your decor,
 vintage, DIY, tablescapes, creations and yummies...
anything STYLE related.
Please have a link back within your specific post
