~Christmas Home Tour 2014~

Welcome...
Come on in out of the cold...
I'm so glad your here to join me on the Christmas tour of our home that I put together!
~~~
What better place to start then the entrance...
Look what I found...another flat hanging basket!!
It's a little smaller then the one I have hanging on the wall but that's ok!
I filled it with fresh greens, and a berry pick and added my favorite jute ribbon.
  I think I might use this one in our master bedroom after the holidays.
Our powder room even gets a few Christmas touches.
Extra holiday towels.
 To the right of our entry is a small sitting room.
I bought this skinny 7ft. tree in Hobby Lobby a few years ago and just tucked it in a basket that I have in here.
To the left of the entry is our living room...
Now let's head on through the french doors to the dining room...
My hutch is dressed with red transferware and my vintage looking Santas...
...and snowman...vintage boy...and bottle brush trees.
Moving into the heart of our home...the kitchen and family room...
Wishing you and yours a very
Merry Christmas...may your day be filled with peace...love...& happiness!
Christmas Kitchen & Family Room
 Hi there friends!!
Today I'll be showing you some of the Christmas cheer I added in the Heart of our Home...
the kitchen and family room.
This is one big open space...it's where you'll find us spending most of our time!
 I kept the decorations pretty simple in the kitchen because I added this lighted garland and real wreath to the window this year and it makes a nice statement all on it's own!
 Here's a pretty night shot...and can you see I tweaked it a little too by adding the pretty red glass ornaments.
I can never leave anything as is!!
 Can you tell how much I LOVE red!
It's a color that stays around my home even after Christmas.
~~~
Now let's head on into our family room.

 Looking in from the breakfast area...

 This is the third year we have a real tree in here...we love it!
It's a 9ft. Frasier Fir...it's smells divine and holds it's needles well!
 Thanks so much for stopping by today!
If your new to Northern Nesting I would love for you to follow along!

French Country Christmas Dining Room

Happy Monday friends!!
Can you believe how fast Christmas is approaching us!
This is my favorite time of year so in the middle of all the hustle and bustle I'm really making it a point this year to sit back and enjoy the true meaning of this season with my family!
~~~
Last week I showed you all our hutch dressed for Christmas...now let's have a look around the rest of the dining room.
I added a small pine wreath to the mirror using a simple Christmas ribbon.
If you missed seeing my hutch decorated for Christmas you can see it here.
I created a simple french country centerpiece.
I love how the little bottle brush looks tucked in the sugar bowl.
I added a paper white to my silver champagne bucket...it smells wonderful!
Another spray that I had for years...
the home decor shop where I bought these closed:-(
This pretty snowflake was made by my youngest last year in school...she was very happy to see it displayed in here!
I hope you all have a wonderful week!
Enjoy this beautiful season!
