Toile or Plaid

I just received my newest pillow cover from Ann  Sutton Place Designs and I love it!!

Here it is, I just can't decide if I should leave it on the plaid side or...
...reverse it to the pretty toile side.

Ann does amazing work, I own quite a few pillow covers from her!

Fall under a Cloche

Happy Monday Friends!
I did a little fall fluffing this weekend in the dining room, and here's what I came up with.
Pumpkins, leaves, & spanish moss under a cloche!

Tied raffia to the top and poked a few fall leaves in.

Added smaller pumpkins to the top of my candlesticks.
And that's my touch of fall in the dining room! Thanks so much for stopping by, have a super week!

Warmer tones for Cooler days

By changing the pillows in my living room from the lighter colored ones that I used during the summer to these warmer colored ones, it gave the room a cozier feel for the cooler months ahead.

I can't even tell you how many of these toffee checked covers I bought from Ballards, they're my favorite.  I also ordered the velvet ones in Latte.
Sorry for the glare. This is how the room looks with the early morning sun coming thru the windows.
I love how Kim added the antlers above the pics in her sitting room. I was thinking of adding them in here, what do you think?

I love how a simple change gave this room a whole new look, and I'm liking it!

A simple Fall Mantle

I kept my mantle very simple this year. Added just enough to give it the look of the season.
I love my potted wheat and didn't want to take them down, so I just worked around them.

All I used was a garland of fall colored leaves and some pumpkins that I had on hand.

After looking at for a few days, I just felt something was missing.
That's it! I added one more natural element, a birds nest that I forgot I had. Stuck the little pumpkin in it, and we're done!
There ya have it, my fall mantle 2012.
Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a super week!
