All because of this...
Pictures were taken from the foyer to use in here on the gallery wall, so I needed to fill the empty spaces back up and I made a few changes in the process:)
A few frame makeovers were needed. Found these wood frames in Michaels for 1/2 off so they only cost me $10 each. I bought four of them...
and turned them into this... still lovin the green and it's a great accent color in our foyer and really pops on the neutral walls. I added a little antique gold rub & buff around the inner part. Love how they turned out.
I love cottage and landscape prints and found these Currier & Ives "American Homestead" 4seasons lithographs on Ebay. This series was originally printed between 1860 and 1870. My reproduction copies were printed in the 1950's.
That took care of filling this wall.
These two smaller prints were used for the gallery wall in the living room also, but I had one of the larger Thomas Kinkade prints left over in the switch so I placed it here. I hope I'm not confusing you guy's too much because there's still more!
From this...
to this...
We're almost done, I promise!
Last but not least, this wall looked like this for quite a few years. Not anymore!
Now it looks like this...
I wanted a more simple look for this wall.
This is another Currier & Ives print that I bought off of ebay, this one is "American Farm Scenes". I took it to Hobby Lobby to be framed. I also had them add a white matte. The frame was black so I painted it AS Coco and waxed it with the clear and dark wax.
Change is fun!
Have a super week!!

Hopefully this is it, because I sure am tired of filling in all the nail holes and painting this wall over and over again:( This wall has gone though so many changes in the last year and I'm just never 100% happy with it in the end. Anybody else have a problem spot in their home? I love my blue plates that I had hanging in here but they looked lost on this wall. This wall is not only wide but it's also high, the ceiling in here is a 14ft tray so it needed something more substantial.
Here's the new look...
I'm happy with the way this gallery wall turned out, especially having the different colored frames.
Let's hope it stays this way for a while!
Now I'm off to go and fill all the other holes where I took these pictures from:(
Thanks so much for stopping! I can't believe it's Wednesday already these weeks are flying by!

If there is one thing that I would NEVER do again is buy a matching bedroom set!! I would buy maybe two pieces of the set and the rest would be odd pieces that were collected over time. I don't think we'll be buying a new bedroom set, so I decided to make a few small changes to get away from it looking so matchy matchy. I replaced my nightstand with this skirted table from Ballards.
Being our bed is so high I order the table 30 inches high so it would be level with the bed. You know I love my check fabric so I went with the toffee ck table skirt. Ordered a new pillow for the chair too:)
I'm really lovin this look!
Another change I made a few years ago was changing the mirror that came with my dresser to this one.

I made a trip to Home Depot yesterday and found this pretty hanging plant. I fell in love with the planter more then the plant that was in it. I splurged and bought it for $40. Today I had to make a trip to Lowes and while looking around their garden center I saw they sold just the planter, so I went over to take a look. Guess what the price tag said $6.99!!!
I could have bought the planter and some flowers, and made my own for under $20!
At least I can save this pretty planter and reuse next year. I have this hanging under my back deck.
Have a super weekend!!
