~Copper Rooster~

 Hi there friends...I can't believe it's Thursday already...boy this week flew by!!
~~~
I found this copper rooster mold at an antique store I stopped in the other day and couldn't pass it up!
 I hung it in my kitchen above my french fruit prints.
 Could this be the start of yet another collection...
I think so!!
~BEFORE & AFTER~
 Hi there friends...
There's a lot of changes going on in our master bedroom that I will be showing you all soon...just waiting on two more things to arrive.
I wanted a bench for the foot of our bed and ordered this one from Plow & Hearth knowing it was going to get painted.
~~~
Are you ready for another before & after...
 Here's the before...a factory finished maple.
 And here's the after...a soft...worn...white finish...much better!
I borrowed this fern from our front stoop for the photo ;-)
 One more before...
 And After...

 Stay tuned for the master bedroom reveal!

~Botanical Plate~

 Hi there friends...hope your all having a great week!
~~~
Remember when I told you guys about the great antique store I found in Connecticut that's right near my hubby's back doctor...
 it's where I found the antique cabinet for our master bath.
~~~
Hubs had to go for another follow up last week... there is no way I can just drive by this shop without taking a quick peek!!
This time I only came home with one thing...
I thought this plate was so pretty I couldn't pass it up!
 The markings on the back said it came from England. I should have taken a picture before I put the plate holder on.
 It fits right in with the four botanical prints I have hanging in here.
  The best part is I only paid $5.00 for it!
Another great find!

Starting A New Collection!!

 Hi there friends...
Remember when I bought the ladder for my master bath I said I came home with a few more goodies...well these old canes and walking stick are them.
 I've been looking at these canes every time I go into an antique store and some of them are priced at $60 & $70 a piece!!
~~~
It must have been my lucky day... I got all five for $50!!
When the seller said ten dollars a piece...I said I'll take them all!
The container I've had for a while...I bought it in Hobby Lobby. It's the perfect size and it leaves me room to add a few more ;-)
Just what I needed...another collection!!
Have a great week!!
~A Happy Day~
 Yesterday my baby girl made her Holy Communion...such a happy day!
My son Will just turned 12...Victoria will be 8 next month...and Mackenzie is 14.
 Victoria and her Mimi (my mom)...she loves my mom beyond words...they definitely have a special bond.
Next shot is blurred...that's what I get for asking a stranger to take our picture UGH! She has a class mass in June and will wear her dress again...hopefully we'll get a better picture then.
 She was getting tired of me taking pictures at this point so I asked her to strike a pose...that got her attention lol!
We had such a wonderful day filled with many happy memories!
~Invitations & Favors~
 Hi there friends...
I can't believe my baby girl is making her
Holy Communion on Saturday...she is so excited!
~~~
I wanted to show you the pretty invitations we had made up.
For the favors I went to my favorite candle shop where I buy all my soy candles from.
I picked my favorite scent and they made personalized labels for all of them.
  I had the women who made us the invitations make up these thank you labels that I tied around the wrapped candle.

 1 down 29 more to go!!
I better get back to wrapping!

I'm still at it!!

Hi there friends...I hope you all had a nice weekend!
You would think by now I would be so done with a paint brush...nope I'm still at it!!
I decided to paint the four kitchen chairs that were cream in AS Versailles...which is a soft pale green color.

You can see the difference in this next shot...

I was thinking of my new PB sectional that should be delivered any day now YAY!! The fabric is washed linen and the color is Seagrass which is in the green family.
~~~
See the floral chair in the next photo, part of the  new sofa will be over there...so I figured the Versailles would look much prettier near it.
The table base and legs were also cream so I painted those too...
and left the two head chairs just the way they were with the walnut stain which matches the table top.
Love this color!!
Thanks so much for stopping by...
I'm off to finish yet ANOTHER project!!
Summer Bedding~Will's Room
 Hi there friends...
This change all started when my mom picked up this new patch work quilt for my son's room! It didn't come with the matching shams...and I'm so glad about that.
~~~
Then I saw Kim's post on her recent trip to Ikea... and the fabulous duvet and shams she picked up for her farmhouse style guest room here
 The blue ticking was perfect to complete his new summer bedding!
~~~
Let's have a look...
I added one of the red ticking pillow covers that I purchased from Ann a few years ago to break up all that blue.
 Love the buttons.
  A lighter and brighter look for the warmer months ahead!
Thanks so much for stopping by!
